Pelvic Floor Training

Whether young or old, pregnant or menopausal – a weakened pelvic floor can lead to various problems such as urinary incontinence. With special products and precisely tailored exercises, you can prevent these issues, alleviate them, or even make them disappear entirely. So that you can once again have great prospects for a better quality of life.

Pelvic floor trainers directly target the affected muscle group in four problem-solving stages: from perceiving the pelvic floor muscles to conscious muscle control and muscle building to stabilization.

Feeling the Pelvic Floor Muscles

In the first problem-solving stage, you locate your pelvic floor muscles and learn to consciously perceive them. This helps you to perform the exercises purposefully – an important factor for the success of pelvic floor training, according to experience. Often, different muscle groups work together to trigger a specific movement. However, you rarely actively tense your pelvic floor muscles in the process, and therefore have no feeling for them. In the first stage, you will now learn to distinguish the pelvic floor muscles from other muscle groups.

Conscious Muscle Control

After you can now perceive and activate the muscle group, the goal is to learn to control it consciously. In stage 2, you practice contracting the pelvic floor muscles purposefully without tensing surrounding muscle groups, such as the gluteal muscles. Regular exercises with the Pelvic Floor Training Aids Phase I active ensure this. The training is based on the biofeedback principle.

Building Pelvic Floor Muscles

In the third step, you strengthen your pelvic floor muscles through regular training. Targeted exercises can strengthen the different muscle layers of the pelvic floor, similar to weight training. The reflexive contraction of the pelvic floor muscles and the gradual increase in weights ensure effective muscle building.
