Proper Care for PVC Fitted Sheets

The PVC fitted sheet should not come into contact with skin cream, as this can harden the PVC material, as can the use of fabric softener. This can lead to cracks that render the PVC fitted sheet unusable. With proper care, such as using our recommended special detergent "PVC-Wash", a PVC fitted sheet can last a very long time.

Incontinence Bed Protection, an Increase in Quality of Life

Incontinence bed protection pads and fitted sheets serve to protect the mattress from soaking and the penetration of germs and bacteria. For temporary use or in short-term care, simple PVC pads can be used. Coated bed pads (terry or molton) also have an absorbent function and increase lying comfort. They are placed over the bed sheet, so that in the event of urination, only the bed pad needs to be washed. In severe, long-term, and intensive care, pads made of PU (polyurethane) are used. They are not only durable but also breathable and reduce the risk of pressure sores due to their elasticity. Multi-layer bed pads are highly absorbent and also help prevent pressure sores.
